Looking for parents and siblings of Anthony Ross (Rouille) born 1850 Quebec and died 1920 Peterborough, Ontario. He married Mary Guillot in Quebec. I know Anthony Ross (Rouille) had a sister named Emma married Joseph Couture.

Hi,

If you go to the City of Peterborough website, it has a link to the Peterborough Library:

http://www.city.peterborough.on.ca/

If you contact the library, perhaps they can find his date of death and then perhaps an obit, which might give you some information.  They might have cemetery info, as well.

Good luck!

Thank you. Yes they are mine. Antoine's parents are actually Rene Rouille and Flavie Inkelle. Can't seem to find Flavie's parents though. The only thing I know about her is that she's born about 1825 Quebec and married Oct 1849 St Edouard, Napierville,Quebec. Maybe you can help me find her parents, please. Thanx.

If you check the Family search site, you will find that there were Inkelles recorded after mid century....however, the 1881 Canadian census records show only the surname Inkell , nor does the name Inkelle come up in a search of Canada 411.
This doesn't mean that there were no Inkelles...but that you may want to try that version of the name also in your searches, as the name Inkell comes up several times...and only in Quebec... http://findaperson.canada-411.ca
I think the original census entry I saw said the head of the Inkell household was of German descent and he was around the age of your Flavie...and also born in Quebec...
Just a thought...J.J.

Thank you. will try that. I've also tried Enquell; Ingwell; Enguell; and nothing came up. I have tried  also Hinkelle but no luck yet.
