Are there any KESTETON`s out there

I am particularly interested in Sarah born 24 Feb 1822 Dudley Worcester
Father Benjamin Mother Sarah Randal.
She married Thomas Davis10 Nov 1939
children-Benjamin and Mary Jane

Did you know there was a Kesterton in the line of Oliver Cromwell

Hi Geoff

I have Kesterton's in my line but not in Dudley, they were in the Edenbridge, Kent and Lingfield, Surrey area.  From census returns they appear to be the only Kesterton's in the area.  This was in the late 1700s/early 1800s.

Do you know where the name comes from?

The father Benjamin was born in portsmouth 26 Jan 1794
I have other Family Members in this area

Looking at census records for Kesterton's it does seem a fairly uncommon name, there is probably a chance there is a connection between Portsmouth and Surrey. 

I must get over to the Surrey History Centre sometime and do a bit more investigation into the family!
