MARTIN - BIRMINGHAM - ADVICE PLEASE
« on: Wednesday 27 October 04 15:52 BST (UK) »
Would be grateful for any help in tracing THOMAS WILLIAM MARTIN who appears to have been born in Birmingham in either 1858 or 1859.  He became an Electro Plate Polisher (according to the 1901 census) and married a lady called AGNES born in Birmingham in either 1861 or 1862. Whilst still there they had a daughter ELIZA in either 1885 or 1886.

The 1901 census sees them having moved to London Deptford so any advice on the best way to trace their earlier years would be appreciated.

Thanks.  LJAY

HI
I have found your family in the 1891 census, living in London. Also do you have the full1901 census for the family, they had a lot of children, if you would like the details let me know and I willpost it. In 1891  he used William not Thomas, and Eliza is listed as born Deptford although on 1901 it states Birmingham.
