Anyone living in Prestatyn please

Hi folks
I have a bit request for imposing on your time please.

On a recent trip to UK, we did a flying visit to Prestatyn to look for a rellies house. Turns out there are several streets beginning with "Victoria" and we chose the wrong one...a very short street called Victoria Park St.

Disappointment was the order of the day!

Get home and check..it should have been VICTORIA AVENUE (running between Ffordd Pendyffryn and High Street)

The house I am looking for is  (or was) called Redcliffe in 1918 when my Great uncle and aunt lived there.

Can anyone tell me, is it still there please..and if it is take a quick pic of it for me.
I would be eternally grateful.

Hi Sylvia,  With regards your request about the house on Victoria Avenue,  I had a walk down the road this afternoon and all the houses are numbered none had a name but you need to see a street map for the time as there appears to be some houses which have been built in the last forty years so they could have replaced your house.  Sorry can't help futher Norma.

Hello Sylvia,
Had a look at the electoral registers for Prestatyn 1918 and 1919 could not see a Redcliffe in Victoria Ave,
the only one I could see was in Pendre Ave, and the occupant was Albert Victor.
I made a list of house holders in Victoria Ave, if you let me have the names of your great aunt and uncle i can see if they are on it.

My rellie was Francis Townsend who married Isette Edith Saunders

I did wonder if this may have been some kind of Convalescent Home as Francis was there shortly after being gassed in France.

Hi Sylvia,
 had a  look at the 1918 electoral reg for Francis & Isette in Prestatyn also had a look in Victoria Ave Rhyl for Redcliffe
no luck I'm afraid, you could be right perhaps they were just visiting.
