Hi,

I'd be gratfeul if someone could do a couple of lookups in the 1891 Census for me please.

Family 1
James Yapp (born abt 1843 in Leominster) + wife Catherine (born abt 1841 in Coreley) likely to be living at Brick House, Coreley.  Also likely to feature daughter Catherine (born abt 1879)

Family 2
Henry Millichamp (born abt 1838 in Bitterley) and wife Mary Ann (born abt 1844 in Coreley), likely to feature daughter Mary Ann born abt 1879), likely to be living at Pot House, Hope Baggott.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

Nicky (or anyone else)

I wonder if you could do another 1891 lookup for me please.

I'm looking for Bertram James Yapp born 1867 and Eliza Millichamp born 1868 probably in Coreley and possibly at Woodrow Farm, Coreley.

They are son and daughter of the two families above.  They got married in 1891 but not until the September so I was expecting to find at least one of them living at home.

They're both registered as living in Coreley on the marriage certificate. I know by 1897 they were at Woodrow(e) Farm so he (or they) may be there already.  He's listed on the marriage certificate as being a farmer - she as a housekeeper.  I'm wondering whether it was his house she was keeping.

Thanks in advance for any light you may be able to shed on this for me.

Dave

Thanks Nicky,

confirmed my suspicions. 6 months later Eliza goes from housekeeper to wife - and wouldn't you know it there's a little 'un along not long after that.

Thanks again - your help is much apperciated.
