Crockford's of 1951- 52 is not very helpful.  Two possible men but the biographical details do not show them as being in Suffolk.  Julius Nelani Jordan who worked in S Africa and Canon James Henry Jordan, Hereford Cathedral.
An earlier edition might be more helpful as it is possible he had died by 1951.

Excellent resource but no good for me as it covers 1540 - 1835. I'll have to wait a while!!  :o

Same here. I've posted a request along these lines elsewhere for two vicars called David Evans for the period 1880-1911:

For later Clergy, you need to Consult Crockfords directories, there are a selection at Ancestry and many reference libraries will have a year or two

Specifically Tuam diocese, I think.

Thomas Abbott (1688-1762) was appointed curate of Athenry, Co. Galway, in 1715.
He was later vicar or rector of various parishes, of Moylough at the time of his death.
Does anyone have a reference book for the clergy of Tuam (or possibly Clonfert) and could look him up for me, please?
Bagwell of Kilmore & Lisronagh, Co. Tipperary;  Beatty from Enniskillen;  Brown from Preston, Lancs.;  Burke of Ballydugan, Co. Galway;  Casement in the IoM and Co.
