Family History and Motorcaravaning
« on: Friday 21 July 06 18:03 BST (UK) »
Does anyone else use a motorcaravan to visit various Record Offices in search of Family History data? We have been doing so for many years and are always looking for good camp sites with easy access to the various offices. Would anyone like to share their findings?
For example we use a site in Oxford opposite a Park and Ride so don't need to move the van or worry about parking a large unit ! Just back from Shrewsbury again able to use a site near a Park and Ride great  :).
Send me a personal message for details
Now I am desperately looking for a site near the Record Office in Northampton with good public transport
Any ideas?
