Raels Hi,
I think Crooks farm is the one above Shipley Glen that is a caravan site, I visited a caravan there in the 60's and I think it was still open 10 or so years back.
Best regards
Dave

OK Raels it's your lucky day.
I visited the caravan park and spoke to the people in reception.
Said I was doing some family history and could I photo the farmhouse. The guy was a bit suspicious so I said the people who lived here were called Lancaster.
He said " Oh J.B.Lancaster, go ahead"
There was a lot of building work going on but I took a photo of what looked like the original building. Then the guy asked me to come into reception.
There were several photos on the wall of the site in a bye-gone age. One had a sign on the hillside J.B.Lancaster.
The site was a campsite way back when the photos were taken, I would guess 1920's
I took photos of the ones which I knew would be of interest and the Guy gave me the aerial photo, the farm can be just made out at the lower edge of the campsite.
So I guess you should be pleased with that.
I'll have to split the photos
Best regards
Dave
