ALDRIDGE of St Giles
« on: Saturday 30 October 04 22:34 BST (UK) »
I have had it confirmed that my gt grandfather Michael son of William and Elizabeth ALDRIDGE was baptised in St. Giles, Oxford.  His date of birth is 8 June 1820.
Could SKS please establish who his siblings are?

St Clements

27 Aug 1826 Henry
1 Aug 1830 Elizabeth Martha @ Brewery Street, St Clements

I haven't seen the original, but the Oxfordshire Family History Society transcript says 'Friar's Entry' which was my first thought as it's just across the road from the church.

(And I noticed it was still there when I was in Oxford last June!)

There's a reason I don't make too many contributions on the Handwriting board...

Yes, looks obvious now!

I'd post it, but this is a banned attachment area.

I'll have a look at it on Ancestry at the library tomorrow just to be triple sure ;D

But as ever with these things, you can't beat local knowledge ;)

Not clear at first glance though.
