Oswestry Local Studies Library - is anyone going there soon?
« on: Thursday 03 August 06 10:10 BST (UK) »
Hi

I wonder if anyone is going here in the near future?

I'm trying to get hold of an obituary from the OA for June 1924. It is of a James F. Wilson who died, Chirk on 21 June 1924. I'm sure that there would have been a report and that it would have been indexed. It was a large military funeral. I remember seeing photos of it at some stage.

Grateful for any help in this. I could ask Mr Williams, the librarian, but he's helped me so much in the past that I feel too embarrassed.

Thanks
