Looking for any info on Thomas Box  who came out to Australia in 1862 as an enrolled pensioner guard,any help or ideas would be greatfully appreciated not sure of a birth date,maybe around 1830?

Hi,

Have you tried to get more information on him via the links on our emigrants board?  A more precise DoB would help to pin him down,  as would an idea of the area he hailed from,  he may then turn up on an 1861 census,  maybe working in an institution.  I did a quick check on FreeBMD and there are several possibilities post 1837.
