Census 1841 & 1851 St Peter's - HUDSON
« on: Sunday 20 August 06 10:54 BST (UK) »
I wonder if SKS would be able to look up the following family for me please?

John Hudson b Aug 1793 in Eythorne and wife Frances Pankhurst b abt 1792 Chatham. In the 1820s and 1830s they had nine(?) children who were all christened in  Particular Baptist, Saint Peters (Thanet), Kent.

I would like to try and establish whether the family were actually living in St Peters in this period and if possible what was John's occupation.

Many thanks in advance

Pete

Hi bearkat

Many thanks for the '41 and '51 census data. Received your PM too and have replied.

The carpenter John in '41 went on to manage a pottery firm in Poole and is my daughter's 3GGF.
