I was seriously thinking of cutting down some of the trees that were spoiling the chance of getting a good shot, but I was out of two stroke for the chain saw in the boot, we always carry such things here for when we have to hack away at the bush to get somewhere, it being such a wilderness here.

It is a very nice area round there Denn, some nice old houses, that one is just about two blocks from Beaufort street so would be terribly noisy, if you are ever up that way it is just after Perth College on the river side. you would need a coupla million to think about buying it but. I am safe back in Joondalup listening to the birds singing.

Think there are a few ghosts there as well

 ;D wooooo...those are very colourful spooks!  ;D

Seriously though, thanks bogga, they are great pics of a lovely house (pity about the chain saw, you really should be more prepared if you're going to go bush!)    I agree though - would probably have been nicer before motor cars and highways   :)

Many, many thanks - and to you too, Denn, for the kind offer  :D  Bogga, I will PM you with my email, as I'd love the full size pics.

It looks like the sort of place that people go to live when they can't afford Gosnells!

Just came across this and see it's pretty old. I'm not sure if earlier attempt at reply was sent. I am a descendent of Richard Haynes (living in WA) and have more family information if you're still interested.
