My interest/bugbear/mania(?)is the Prendergast,which as you probably know are 'related' to the Butler+Morrissey's,and also every other name you can poke a stick at!

Hi Tomm,

Just found in websight that could be useful to you.waterfordimagearchive is the name of the sight.  When you get in put harney in the 'Search' space.

Well it is here in the Antipode's anyway!
Sorry I didn't make it clear,but the congregation's were of the R.C churches in Liverpool.

Slaters directory 1881 has a Maurice Shanahan, Drumcannon, Tramore , Farmer, and a William Shanahan, Drumcannon, Tramore, Farmer. In the Church of the Holy Cross graveyard Tramore is the following , Erected by Alice Shanahan of Tramore in memory of her son Owen Shanahan who died May 4th 1834 aged 19 years. Also her daughter Alice Shanahan who died April 9th 1835 aged 17 years.
