I have a Daniel Cook who married a Sarah ????
Daniel Cook christened in Icklesham on 23 Oct 1785 and died 1873 Parents John Cook and Mary ????

I found Daniel on the 1871 census living with his daughter and family Charles Woodhurst and Dinah.
I also have Daniel and Sarah on the 1841 1851 and 1861 census.

Can anyone help me with the ???? for Sarah and Mary. Census say Sarah also born in Icklesham. Or  any information at all on any of the Cook's. I have not been able to find anything on John Cook and Mary ??? or any of the children other then Harriott and Dinah.

Harriott born 1816 migrated to Australia ...... 1838

Married 23 January 1784 at Icklesham, John Cook and Mary Sargent.

Any time Christrina

I wonder if Daniel and Sarah married outside Sussex??  Although they were both born Icklesham.  Hmmm

I dont think so, from what I see on the census they spent all their time in the Ickleshame, Ore and Guestling area's but then you never know. I did find a Sarah Edwards once which I thought may of been her but I'm not sure. I think Sarah was born about 1789, in Icklesham also.

But you are right they may of married else where or not even married at all

The only Sarah Edwards I could find on the Sussex Marriage Index married a Philip White in Hastings in 1806.  But as you say they might not have married, or the marriage might not have been transcribed.
