It's strange, I was going to make them black, Deliberated for
several minutes and then remembered when I was a kid and
people wore Brahn Boots with everthing.

            Of course we were poor compared to people like you.

Is it me, or does she have some damage to the ends of her fingers, or maybe they are  work worn!! They just look a bit odd on the original!

Her fingers are O.K. apart from her little finger. The first joint and nail seem to be missing.

Many thanks Tomkin for your hard work, black or brown shoes cant make my mind up yet.  As for Rebecca's fingers I had thought that her hand looked odd but Im not convinced she hasnt got a nail unless it can be supersized to see it better, maybe you guys and gals have the tools to do that? 

Yes she probably did work hard in those days but as yet I dont know her occupation other than a hard working wife and Robert is her second husband. 

I suppose there cant be too may Rebecca Jones in the earlier Festinog/Maentwrog census but according to 1901 census she was born in Bala so until I get their marriage cert ordered today I cant tell which town to accurately search.

Her son from her first marriage inherited his estate to the distaste of the Roberts side of the family I'm told.
