Yes Tati,  The other side of the family are Ogles.  When I was told my mother was bridesmaid to her cousin we always thought it was to a Sword.  Guess you have found someone I havent got on my tree  how exciting.  Jessy

Hi guys, could you help me work back on Mary Annie Ogle.  I may have two possible fathers there was a Robert Ogle born 1843 and a George Ogle born 1848 both of whom I have no wives and children for.  Maybe Mary is one of their daughters???  Just shows I have been looking in the wrong place for weeks.  Jess

In 1891, he's called Robert Jones Ogle.

1861 has a Robert Jones Ogle son of George and Susannah.
RG9/3817 32 58
Elswick, Northumberland
53 Tyne Side Terrace

George Ogle, head, 41, Steam Engine Fitter, b. Durham Chester le Street
Susannah, wife, 40, b. Durham City
Robert Jones do., son, 18, Iron Founder, b. Gateshead
Mary Ann do., dau, 12, scholar, b. Nortumberland Mast**
Mary, dau, 10, scholar, b. do.
Joseph Mathew?, son, 3, b. do.

Big gaps in children's ages ... wonder if this is a 2nd marriage

Couldn't you open the link to the 1881 census posted earlier?

That's what it looks like, yes.
I'd be careful however on Robert's parentage until you find a christening record for him, just to check hboth his parents names. In case he was Susannah's son prior to her marriage to George, or the other way round.

Same for Mary A.

And possibly:
Sep 1844 Tynemouth XXV 332
George Ogle on the same page as a Susannah Jones

In 1851, George is only 4 years old  ??? There's a brother Thomas age 6 who is blind, and daughters Margaret age 2 and Mary 1 month.
