Had an idea.

If your Henry William is related(which seems likely to me)

He would have to be the son of either Ernest Record Sucker(16985/1961)  or Harry William V Sucker(34171/1957) .

If you order transcriptions of their death certs(refs above) it should tell you all their childrens names. I would order Harrys first.

That should sort it out ;D

Heloo  there

If  your granmother is still alive  if so  ask her if  she has a copy of  her wedding certificate  it will list  her parents names

then  you  can get  either  their marriage  or birth certificates

marriages  are avialable  to 1955
one of  our rooters Ozzy Bob has  births in NSW till 1918  so  you can ask him  for any help

regards Jenn

Wow... Thanks heaps for all of that.

For your info Kev,  I have a marriage record that seems to indicate that John Sucker (1877-1906) Married Margaret J Partridge in West Maitland in 1903.

Yes, that is my grandparents who married in 1945. Having trouble getting certificates as Grandma is very sick atm bt I think she still has them.

Was thinking along the same lines though, that we must be decended from Harry WV or Ernest.  Should be interesting to find out.  I am fairly certain that this should be the generation before my grandparents since the times seem to fit.

I'll have to contact Ozzy Bob and see if he has any helpful info.

Thanks again,

Angela

Angela i have LOADS on the Clarks. Been really researching them thoroughly.

Let me know if you get the certs. I use a transcription agent for mine. Recommended in this post. Really good service and quite cheap.

I also have some more Sucker info sent to me by Cherie in NSW. It is all her work.

Hi Jenn, hope you are well.

Just had contact from someone who is Isaac Daniel Clarks grandson!!

Didn't know about OzzyBob having Births to 1918 might see if there anything i need looking up ;D

I would love to get any info that you have that may fit in, especially on the Suckers as that's what I am focusing on at the moment but everything else would probably come in handy further down the track.

As I said I am just starting out so I don't have alot to go on.

Thankx again and I'll let you know if I get those certs.

Ang.

Hi! I am not sure where you are all up to with the search on Eliza Ann Sucker. But maybe I can help.

Happy to share what I know and have.

Both John Sucker and his son (my great grandfather) married ladies called Eliza Ann. Do this could cause confusion. The younger of the two Eliza Ann's was Eliza Ann Reed and she was the daughter of Sarah Clark.
