Maybe you could make it clear on the 1901 census leftovers webpage that it only covers England, as I just wasted a bit of time on there looking for scottish entries. then i came and found this of course

Yes, sorry about that, just so used to seeing it and knowing what it means, that I didn't realise it could be misinterpreted.
I've now changed the introductory paragraph.

Once you have downloaded a page from the 1901 U.K. census ^*, and transcribed your family, you are invariably left with other families on the page, which may very well be of use to someone else. or, if you know the reference, to search for a particular Piece/Folio/Page.

^* The 1901 U.K. census covers only England and Wales. It does not include Scotland or Ireland.
