Searching for PATRICK PHELAN - he died before 1867.
His daughter ANN born c1846
Her son THOMAS PHELAN born c1865.
Any help will be much appreciated.

When I first read your post, I thought you may be researching the name of Whelan. It does seem to be a variant:

There are a lot of Patrick Phelan's in the Griffiths valuation. Do you know which county even?

Unfortunately - no! I was hoping (mad!) that someone might say:
'Hey! I recognise the name PATRICK PHELAN and he did have a daughter Ann born c1846!'
Family myth says that the family MAY have come from Waterford - which I know is a stronghold for the PHELAN name, but...myth and fact can be two quite different things!
I know the chances of me succeeding are very remote but it's worth trying to get the necessary information / leads!
