Sorry for any bother caused,

Thank you for your offer Dan. I can forward you my email address via this post if that other contact wishes to make contact. I am currently living in Co Meath in Ireland and are down visiting relations in Coolbagh a couple of times per year. My grandfather home house in Coolbagh is still within the family. I do know there was another family of O'Briens in the area (even looking at 1911 census).

I will be at home this weekend so will have more information after that.

Regretably, my computer has suffered a couple memory crashes since 2009, and I have been unsuccessful in locating the contact information.  Will keep looking.

Hi - I realize this is a pretty old post, but my great-grandfather was John Joseph O'Brien, who is the younger brother of your great-grandfather. Hopefully you are still on these boards. I have a little bit of info and am traveling to Ireland in June - hope to get to Coolbagh when I'm there.
