place name help please

Hi Pandora,sadly all the mining pits have closed around these areas,it's known as the Gwendraeth valley because the river, Gwendraeth Fawr (in english Fawr means big)  runs through these villages.I'm from this area originaly, a little village called Pontiets just a few miles from Trimsaran,but now i live in Carmarthen.

Hi. im from Trimsaran. Bryncaerau is a street name in Trimsaran at the bottom end near Sardis chapel which is near the old coal yard you mention
