The Ellis Island records do not state who her parents are. She paid her won way to NYC in Sept 1905 and travel with her two cousins, Rose Savage and Mary Ann Savage.  Mary Ann Savage was my husband's grandmother.  Rose and Mary Ann settled in lower New  York State.  Mary Ann Murray married Hugh Savage.  I think her parents were John Murray and Nancy Walsh.  Hugh Savage and Mary Ann Murray are buried in the  Finnis Catholic cemetery Dromara.  Maybe my Bridget was named after an aunt.  I really don't have too much more on her.  Thanks for corresponding with me.

Hi,
I can find the marriage of Hugh Murray who married a widow, Mary Mackin whose maiden name was McAVOY, in Aghlisnafin Roman Catholic Church, Downpatrick on 20 Nov 1881.

Rose and Mary Ann Savage would have been cousins of my grandmother.
They were children of Mary Ann Murray and Henry Savage.
Mary Ann Murray was sister to my grandmother's father John Murray.
Mary Ann Savagemarried a Donnery.Their daughter Catherine married a Davidson.
Can you tell me anymore about Mary Ann Murray - Her parents and grandparents?

My great grandfather, John Murray,   married  Jane Milligan in Clough church in1872.  They emigrated to England where they had at least 10 children. He was shown as living in Middlesborough, aged 64 years in 1911 Census.
I think he died about 1917.
He was born in Slievenisky and had at least 2 sisters ;- Mary-Ann and Susan.  We have not heard of any others.
His mother was a Nancy Walsh. We are not sure of his father's christian name or whether his father had any brothers or sisters. His grandmother's name was Ann.
I am looking for any information about his father's family.
