Elizabeth AIREY and John PARK
« on: Saturday 30 September 06 12:19 BST (UK) »
Does anybody have any connections to these ?
John Park of Mansergh married to Elizabeth Airey of Sizergh Hall(a servant ?) in 1804 in Kendal
Their children I think include William born 1806 Kikby Lonsdale,Betty 1809 Kendal,Mary 1811 Kendal,Sarah 1813,Isabella,1816,Margaret 1820,Joseph1821,Nancy+Thomas 1826 all born Old Hutton.
I know that Elizabeth is from Dent and I'm assuming she is an Airey as this is the only marriage to a John Park I've found.
I have some of them from 1841 onwards(thanks to Isobel Russ )
I'd like to find out more about John Park who was a joiner according to his children's marriage certs. He doesn't apparently appear on 1841 Westmoreland census.By 1851 his wife is a widow. In 1841 she's Independent and living with a married daughter so he could be dead.
Any suggestions welcome.
Sue

hi
You aren't likely to find a connection if you don't give a bit more information!    When did your Elizabeth and William marry and where?   Have you got the register entry or certificate?    Have you got a census record for them?  What children did they have?  Every scrap helps.

Sorry to be pressing this but surely you must know something about them or how do you know they are part of your tree?    Did you just pick them out of the ether?  Jackson and Airey are very common names in that region.   As Sue said - she needs dates to be able to consider whether they match up.   We do our best to help but we are not mind readers - wish we were and then I could have got past a few of my brick walls!

No i did not just pick their names out of a jar, they are my ancestor's, which i am trying to piece together, i don't understand why anyone here can't get or come to understand that, as i said before i wouldn't be posting if i had any information, because i wouldn't need to, right...
