Just to put this in context.  The IGI on www.familysearch.org has 822 records for Elizabeth Jackson in Westmorland.  When you consider that it is not full coverage of the county by any means it does make your search impossible with just names.    That is why we "can't get or understand that"  Sorry not to be able to help.

All i actually have is the date of when William & Elizabeth Married, and the names of a few of their Children, anything from William and Elizabeth's Children, to present i can share, but nothing from beyond William & Elizabeth's marriage.

Hi Twiglets
Perhaps if you set up another post with the details of William and Elizabeth's marriage and their children we can look at it separately from suzyf's post, then perhaps you will be able to link with her D

Hi suzy

I'm a new member, and wonder if we might have a familial connection.

My husband's ancestors include Parks from the Kendal area, and I have Aireys marrying in from the 1830s upto the 1880s

For example, a Mary Park (b.1837, Heversham) married James Airey (b.ca 1831, Kendal) in 1861.

Hi
I think they're probably different families ,but I have not been able to trace John Park's family. All I know is that he was born about 1784 and died 1836.The family lived mostly around Old Hutton near Kendal.Do you know Mary Park's father ? I've recently been looking at Park wills at the Lancashire Record Office to try and sort out who belonged to which Park family.
It didn't help me but might sort something out for you or other Park researchers .
