I've since found that Peter Dobbins' parents were
Patrick Dobbin    c 1850   and Mary Kenny b 1859 in Co.Kildare. However,I have no info on them, so would appreciate anything at all.

Peter had a brother Patrick b 1888
Peter married Margaret Cullen .
They lived in the Warrington Place/Mount St/ Powerscourt area
There is also a hint that he also married an 'Anne?'

Following on;-

Peter married Margaret Cullen, AND her sister Annie Cullen. Margaret died aged 29 so I presume he wed Annie afterwards.
Annie Cullen also married a Peter Long at some time.

Peter's brother Patrick also married Margaret Cullen. Don't know when !

Just fell upon this site.
My father was Michael Dobbyns and Mother Dora nee Cullen.
From what I’ve been told my father was one of four brothers .. Paddy, Michael, John and Peter.
Paddy was the son of Patrick Dobbyns but he wouldn’t marry Margaret. Peter his brother married her. My father said his mother died when he was a young teanager... he was born in 1914.
I didn’t hear anything about a subsequent marriage although I remember him as a child last vine with us for a while.

Mary M Cullen,Verschoyle Court,dtr of Michael decd   (possibly Mary Margaret Cullen)

Patrick's Dobbyns parents were Peter Dobbyn and Rose Bolger
Mary Kenny's were James Kenny and Elizabeth Walshe
marriage here St Kevins  22nd Oct 1881
