Hi Mysterymachine,

I think you'd need to order her birth cert to get the details:

Irene M Curtis
mother's maiden name Barrett
July-Aug-Sep quarter 1918
Wareham registration district
Volume 5a page 404

Tanja  :)

Alternatively, you can try and find a Curtis/Barrett marriage on the full index here, but there may be more than one:

Hi Mysterymachine.
I have a marriage that totally eludes me. William Curtis sometime miller at Broomhill ( 1815) near Moreton married an Anne ( nee unknown) in about 1810 judging by the christening of her first son Charles. She died  9/10/1827 and he then married a Mary Amey 20/10/1828. Do you have any candidates?
Thanks for your effort.
Toby Webb.

Hi al b

I recently joined RootsChat and have read a lot of material that has been on the site for a few years regarding a William Gollop who appears to me to be a descendant of Edward & Esther Gollop who were born in the late 18th century in Honiton, Devon.  Edward & Esther were my 4x Gt. Grandparents.  I don’t know if you found the information you wanted or if you are still searching, but I think I could help provide information that  appears to be missing.  I’m not to good at finding my way around RootsChat yet so don’t know how to contact anyone in a more direct way than this.
