vital records lookup please

Hi..

Would it be possible for a lookup please to locate a death record  for William Ivor Jones b. 1894 Swansea? Unfortunately I don't know the place of death or the year except that took place sometime between 1947 & 1972. Thank you in advance.

unfortunately Lynn it is the same as FreeBMD finishing off same time... but it does then have the death index from 1984-2000. Unfortunately with yours being in the middle it is not there...Sorry

have you tried www.1837online.com
i have found this site invaluable, it has the whole bmd index for england and wales.
it's not that expensive.
