Something to consider. If this is Mary Ann's husband then they must have separated well before his death. Mary had Edwin Inkermann Wellman Rushent in Jan 1856 in Nottingham; father said to be Thomas Rushent and her next child Jane Alma Rushent was also born in Nottinghamshire in Aug 1857.
Charles must have gone back to Wiltshire after his marriage and birth of his child in London.
I guess we will not know until I get the death certificate to see if it checks out in terms of age with the details on the marriage cert.
