Hi
I am descended from Roxburgh of Galston. My grandmother was Agnes Murdoch Roxburgh born Galston 18 April 1895. Her and her twin sister Susan Fullarton came to New Zealand in 1912 on their own age 17!!
Their father was James Gold Roxburgh mother Margaret Wilson Alexander siblings were James (killed WW1 1915) Hugh Alexander and Allan (died as a baby 1905). Their mother died in 1905 (possibly childbirth?)
Their grandparents were James Gold Roxburgh and Susan Fullarton. Susan was James second wife he was previously married to and also had children to Agnes Brown.
Any information you can supply will be gratefully. Interest in my Scottish ancestry again has been ignited by two of my children being in Scotland for the rugby test last week.
I hope to visit Scotland again as my last visit was in 1975!

You have the best chance since you blew it in South Africa!

Galston only appears to have been on the site for a week; not sure where they have gone.  Good luck anyway.

Great yes they fit in and I have put them in. Where does it fit with your tree? Can I put some more of your tree in if it fits? Thanks heaps.
If you are in the UK cheer for my team the Crusaders at Twickenham on Sunday.

It appears Matthew and John were from Matthew b 1820 to Sophia Jackson d 1848. It seems possible that Robert who married Mary McWalter was Robert  b 1850.
