Found this in my  ancestors. May not be same though.  JOHN BECHER married MARY TOWNSEND issue JOHN TOWNSEND  BECHER b.1729 d1760 married Mary O'Donovan had one son who was killed in a shooting accident. Left property to sister Mary. She gave rise to the WRIXTON-BECHER family. This is in BECHER genealogy, but could have some connection.  Have a look at www.radleysofcork.bigpondhosting.com where it is all laid out.      Lormar

I have a little more on the Becher/Wrixons.

Mary Becher b.1758, daughter Of John Townsend Becher and Mary O'Donovan married William Wrixon (b.1746) of Ceciltown in 1778. A clipping of the Wedding called him High Sheriff.
Mary's elder brother was killed on his 21st birthday in Dec 1780. He made Mary and her son born in July 1780 his heirs on the condition that he took the name Becher. This son became Sir William Wrixon-Becher and he married the well known actress Eliza O'Neill.
Their house was the beautiful Ballygiblin, and they had 4 surviving children. I have more on their descendants if it is of any interest to you.
