Ok now in the 1871 Census was this the same Joseph who was b. in andover, Hants or Hampshire england on 08 aug 1827. His parents were Robert hayward b. 1791and Rachel Jackman b. abt 1794 in s. tidworth, Hampshire england. Joseph middle name i have began with a B. so it is would Joseph B. Hayward.

Hi Allison,

I had a look at the 1871 image again, and I now believe that I mistook the h in Joseph for an L. Sorry  :P

He's the same man anyway - there isn't any other.  :)

I gave you all the children that I could see with them on census.

Bessie I gave you.
Not sure they would still have children in 1896 at age ca. 70  :-\
Who is Eleanor?

Tanja  :)

George is a widower in 1881:

He's married to en Edith in 1891 and 1901.
I can't find him in 1871.

Joseph F: can't see him on any census.
