Percy Norton Jex born in Leiston suffolk in 1895 Died In ?? in 1978, looking for where he died and his marriage not sure if is to an Alice?

And if you look at the full BMD images of 1978 deaths on Ancestry you can quite quickly find, in the second quarter (remember to check all four quarters for each year):

Percy Norton Jex, b. 8 Aug 1895, d. Blyth district, Vol 20, p. 2028  (Apr/May/June 1978)

Ivy B. Gore might be the one listed on the post-1983 deaths:
Ivy Belmont Jex, b. 25 Feb 1900, d. Feb 1994, aged 93, district Luton.

One of the possible children listed in that other message:
Kenneth Fotherington Jex, b. 11 Jan 1932, d. Jan 1998, aged 56, Great Yarmouth, Yorkshire.

percy harold Jex married Ivy B gore same family but a different line to me all i know about percy is that he  was in the war discharged 1915 wounded.  i think that was the correct death date 1978

there is mention of him in an old letter with an alice then later on in a letter in 1967 at skegness i think with his sister .

thanks for trying , i have been stuck on this one for a long time , hopefully one day i will get all the pieces best wishes sandra

If you get his death certificate it may mention his wife.  Perhaps Alice was his wife before Ivy?
