The only way you are going to find anything about this couple is to buy their marriage certificate that is unless you have details of them from the 1901 census.

Hi

Thanks for your reply, I only know that Bertram George Varney was a soldier in 1901 at Cosham ,Wilts and married in 1911.

Hi Carol

My name is Terry Varney.

Bertram (1967) and Gertrude Varney (1971)were my Great Grand Parents.

They came to Chatham Ontario I believe in 1916 but it may have been a bit earlier.

Their daughter (my grandmother) Elsie passed away a few years ago at the age of 95.

They also had one Son Robert Varney and two more Daughters Gladys and D(*) who is still alive.

My Father Jack Edward Varney born in 1932 out of wedlock was Elsies only child.

Jack Varney Married Mary Anderson and had thre children (*)

We all have children and grandchildren if youre interested at all....

O was last in Wing Buckinghamshire in 1998 but didnt feel welcome so never tried to make contact again as it was as if none of over mattered... but times change I always say...
Maybe we can exchange email addys and some storeies of family
