Newtown Drogheda

In 1837 Newtown Drogheda was a village two miles north east of the town of Drogheda. I believe it's now a suburb of Drogheda, but does it still have a seperate identity and is it still called Newtown? How many miles is Newtown Drogheda (Tullyallen) from Tinure (Mullary)?

According to the Automobile Association of Ireland routefinder, the distance is 9.62 miles
