Hi,

Know this is a long shot, but hoping to locate the marriage of Ebenezer Lewis c1781 to Margaret ? c 1787 born Llanfair ar y bryn. 

Think first child, Ebenezer was baptised 1811 in Ystradgynlais, but this is only a possible not confirmed.  Have them on 1841 in Ystradgynlais, but marriage is not in the parish records there.

Any help or light appreciated

Cas i have the marriages in Carms from 1754-1837 the only possible is this but might be to late?
Ebenazer Lewis to Margaret Hunton in Kidwelly on 30/08/1816.

Cas i dont think there that close Llanfair y bryn i believe is near Llandovery.But im not sure.Hope someone else reads this and can help you as im useless with maps so wouldnt be much point me trying to work out how far apart they are .

Info from Ystradgynlais has pointed me in another direction, think I may have found a very good possible for marriage of Ebenezer/Margaret.

Checked IGI for possible baptism for Margaret, came up with these, could you see if there is any marriage info for these parents in Carms please? think the first is the more likely.

There are no marriages of a Daniel Davis to Mary in Llanfair ar y bryn around those dates.

The other one only one possible William Davies to Elizabeth Griffiths 22/08/1777 Llanfair ar y bryn.

I tried all variants of Davis,Davies,David,Davids.
Theres obviously with a surname like Davis loads of possibles in other villages but not in Llanfair ar y bryn.
