 Can anyone tell me any thing about a photographer Jas Andrews, Artist studio Royal Institution Swansea on the back, & on the front J Andrews, Fecit, the photo I have must have been taken in about the1860s

Definitely 1860s and most likely the latter part of the decade.

James Andrews was my great-grandmother's brother.  He had a studio in Swansea, Wales and was active in the last part of the 19th century.  He was a studio photographer, although I have seen photographs that he took of cityscapes in Wales.  I have several of his photographs.  I believe his studio and much of Swansea was destroyed by bombing raids during the Second World War.
