Hi Fiona Lorraine,

It might be an idea to post the pic to the Belfast Telegraph and ask if they'd be kind enough to arrange for one of their free lancers to publish it in a column. Eddie McIlwaine published one, three or four years ago, of Rockport School, Craigavad, Co. Down which was taken in the 1950s. He was able to include the photo a second time in his weekly column as someone was able to identify all the pupils, members of staff and a couple of dogs that belonged to the headmaster's family.

Come on guys ... thirty eight to go. There doesn't appear to be a wee lad who managed
to get his picture taken twice in the same shot. That used to be quite common when a school photo was taken.

My mother is a McKillen who attended the school in the 1930s. Her dad had brothers Dan, Paddy and Cornielius. But the boys in the photo are not the right ages to be his brothers. Geraldine could I ask the names of your grandparents/ great grandparents? Mine are John + Lizzie and Dan + Hannah. I think our family trees over lap somehow.
