I went and had a look at the NSW records for Catherine and can see what you mean. Did you notice that there was actually 2 Mary Donohues recorded for Ellen and Michael but for different years? No deaths though - a bit weird!

I know what you mean about names! As you read at the start of this thread I thought my g grandmothers name was Violet Edith and it is Ada Sophia Violet!! I told my grandpa the other day and he is refusing to beleive that is her name!! I had to send home the evidence for him to see for himself!
