birth in South australia

  does anyone have access to south australian birth records for 1930

i am looking for andre brian davey, born at rose park in south austraia, mother lucy davey father unknown 

appreciae any help thanks

Hi Jackeroo,
Just a guess but Andre may have been born at the Queen Victoria Hospital which was a Maternity Hospital located in Rose Park.  I think it may have been known as the Queen's Home or something similar around the 1930's.
Someone else may know if these records are available - regards, Sashar

as  you  know births  only  go  to 1906  on  indexs  for south australia otherwise  you  may  get  records  at  genie societies  or  not?  or library  of  south  australia?

you  say  you  have  the  names of  his  children  have  you  tied  to  find  them  at all

Are  they  under DAvey??

Jen is incorrect with the  information she gave. South Australian births are available up to 1928 not 1906

I should  have said  the index I have  only  goes  to  1906 thats  why  I suggested  Genie Societies  etc

I haven't  noticed myself personally   that anyone one on  the site  has  the  birth index's  to  1928 for South Australia  that is but  maybe one  or two  might  very well  have  it.
And  no  doubt  will stand corrected  if  wrong  in  this
