I think 3 items from my 17c re-enacting kit. Now that would really confuse them.

The chest I have all my files in is big enough to bury me in too Jen!  I hope SOMEBODY will take an interest in it when I pop off...

My three things would have to be .. a CD of the family history.

A video with all five generations of my family on,2004.

And a copy of Jane Eyre, my favorite book of all times, just in case books are non existent in two hundred years time.

This is such a difficult question.

The family tree stuff of course is a must but how can you choose the other 2? There would be lots i would like to put in it.  Or is it me just being greedy?

Or to read in case you get buried alive! But there again you'd need a torch. And batteries. And a recharger, so thats more than the three things!

What about cremation? No point in having them with you then  ;D

Totally agree with you, my favourite book, you would also have to include a box of tissues :'( :'(

I would also bury my pc with all my family stuff on it, that way anybody finding it in 200 years time can also have a laugh at our (what will be by then) antiquated computers :)
