Nancy - thank you so much - not only for the information but for the quickness of your reply.   I am new to this form of genealogy and am amazed to how people are so ready to help.   How is it best to email you, as you suggest - can you guide me through the correct procedure?     With thanks again   grossan

This is an old thread, but someone might be interested in this link to the WikiTree pages I've just begun creating for the Neilson family of Buchlyvie.
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Neilson-1295
is Margaret.
As a collaborative free tree, you are welcome to extend the family and add flesh to the bones.

My interest?
I, and a couple of my cousins have a DNA match to a descendant of her sister Isabella and I'm trying to figure out how, particularly as this could be a real good hint at my brickwall from Kippen.
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Henderson-2297_AmeliaMillarBrickwall
refers.

Would love to hear from any DNA tested descendants in particular to see where that leads about pinpointing the connection.
There is a very very vague hint that it might be via Forest/Forrester where a Margaret Forrester is one of the potential mothers for James Neilson/Nielson  who married Margaret Strang
