i saw your post regarding thomas denning from yarcombe,
thomas is my 3g grand uncle. in 1841 he is listed as apprentice to john hoskins
his mother was elizabeth eveleigh

Hawksworth - West Yorkshire/ Norfolk/ Birmingham
Moreton- Cheshire/Salford

Denning/ Dinning- Devon/Somerset (around chard) and Staffordshire
Talbot- Chebsey/Gnosall, Staffordshire

Jones- Shropshire/Stafford
Bailey- Stafford
