Wow Jeff,
That's Fabulous stuff.

I did a Google and found this re: Don McGourlick - Moose Jaw Veterans

Scroll halfway down......it seems that Don is on the memorial as lost in the war....but this was reported in error and he was still very much alive in 2005!

Is this the guy you were talking about Indi ??

http // lostbombers co uk bomber php?id=89 sadly this website no longer exists 2014

hi jeff, spent the past hour or so trying to search the 1911 census, you have no doubt read the story and they were certainly in canada at the time

any ideas how to break the ice?

Only 61.52% of 1911 B.C. Census transcribed so far, so it's possible your family will turn up there at a later date.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

that is wonderful news my friend, will stop pulling out my hair...

so will i be able to find Francis mcgourlick's arrival in Canada 1904?

am i right in thinking that it is 70 years before anyone can search a death record? if that is right that means i can search for Francis and Agnes

Take a look here.....   i'm pretty sure based ont he mistrancription on ancestry that these are your people - they are listed as McCauslick,  but check out the split screen to see....
