hello,
i seem to have lost this family after 1891 cencus (cant find them )

John Johnstone..age 34......(as listed in 1891 cencus.)
Ann johnstone.....age 26
 Jessie ..daughter.. age 8
 Maggie...daughter..age 4
Alexander...son ..age 3
  John ...son ..age 1.

this cencus was taken in logie pert.

looks like this may be another part of the family that done a runner!  :-\

Hi there

Always remember to use wildcards on your SP searches!!  Especially with a name like JOHNSTONE which can very easily lose the trailing E.  I believe your family is safely found in 1901 same parish.  I searched on JO*NSTON* , ALEX* ages 12 - 14 in the one parish and there is only one result. 

There are enough common factors to make the family look like the right one...but I guess only you'll know that for sure.
