Daniel Francis Laird and Mary Bradley

I'm looking for info on my gggrandparents, but have very limited information.
They were born (not sure where) c.1857 and c.1860 respectively, and had six children:
Mary Ellen; Joseph; Sarah Ann; Jane; James and Daniel Francis Jnr.
Any info would be appreciated.

Was he in Scotland in 1881?

There was only one Daniel Laird in Scotland 1881, born Glasgow about 1858,  Parents Moses and Agnes.
