Probably the 1871 Census age for Elizabeth is closest to the real thing  :) May even be she was born just before 1855......would explain why there may be no birth reg. for her post 1855. I'll go back to the 1861 census index and see if there is an older Elizabeth showing. With the parents marriage in 1852 in Scotland, the Irish birth option doesn't look likely.

Regards.

Elizabeth is just not jumping out from the 1861 Census index. All the relevant entries showing as 'daughter' with different birth places. Had a look at 1851 and can see Patrick at home with parents Michael and Margaret and siblings. Have you got this entry or do you want me to post it?

Regards.

If you could let me have the details of the 1851 Census I can then download the image from SP or you can email me it.

Thanks :)
