CAN ANYONE HELP I HAVE ELIZABETH JANE WILSON ON THE 1871 CENSUS AT WELLS SOMERSET, SHE IS APPROX 18 YEAS OLD AND INDEXED AS BEING A SCHOLAR,( WAS IT USUAL FOR THAT PERIOD FOR A GIRL OF 18 TO STILL BE A SCHOLAR?).
SHE WAS BORN AT GOOSEYE KEIGHLEY YORKSHIRE IN 1853 ,HER FATHER WAS AARON WILSON AND HER MOTHER WAS SARAH (ATHAY) WILSON, WHO ORIGINATED FROM WOOKEY AND SHIPHAM. I CAN NOT FIND HER AFTER 1871 CENSUS.

Do you think she may have married?? as by the next census she would be 28 yrs old. have you looked for a marriage?

I looked to see where her parents are and I can trace them to the 1901, 1901 living just the two of them, in 1891 down as visitors in Amelia Wilson's house,(daughter) Amelia is head of house hold and her occupation is school mistress.

So she is not with her parents I would take a guess and say she  married    good luck with looking for that name,
