I've just noticed your post re-Andrewartha.
Just wondered if you have had contact with the people who are collecting all Andrewartha Ancestry?.

Hi Muddypuddy,
My Andrewarthas are from Gwinear & Phillack in Cornwall. So not the same as the ones you are researching.
However some years ago I came across a person who is collecting all Andrewartha Ancestry.  He is working with a group of people from all over the world. They have a fantastic database of Andrewartha history. He was able to give me quite a lot of information for my Andrewarthas.
If you are interested in contacting him - I'll see if I can dig up his address.

Sorry to throw in a total bit of trivia but - I thought the name looked familiar. I remember making a mental note of it because it's so unusual.

Do you watch Neighbours? I know, I should whisper it softly, but I'm a big fan!!    :-[ Anyway, the part of Lynn Scully is played by Janet Andrewartha.

Just thought you might be interested.   ::)

Jill,
That's great glad to see someone else joining in.
I'm not a fan of Neighbours - never watched it when it was on.
Janet Andrewartha fits into my Andrewarthas somewhere along the line.
In the early years of TV in Australia there was another Andrewartha (Arlene) she was rather a pretty girl.  Actually I think there have been a few Andrewarthas in the entertainment business.

Hi muddypuddy,
I contacted the gentleman re: Andrewartha ancestry, he has sent me some charts with your Andrewartha/Rogers line - they are in PDF form.
Could you PM me with an email address that I can send them to please.
