Bulloch of Baldernock

I have a Walter Bulloch in my tree b 1797 in the Parish of Baldernock.  Walter married Margaret McGilchrist in 1820.  My gt gt grandfather William was born in 1820.  The problem I'm having is determining the parents of Walter's father William who married Margaret Buchanan.  There are many William Bulloch's born around the same time on the IGI.  Any ideas?

did you get any further with walter bulloch. i have him in my family tree also.

no I didn't get to the bottom of it - there are several options for the parents of William Bulloch all born roughly the same time in the same area - even checked at the registrars in Edinburgh.

my connection is through walters elder brother william. walters grandfather was also called william balloch and married margaret mcleod in 1763. but remember at this time their name would have been registered as bulloch
